Adrian and Eva want you to feel at home in one of the most remote hotels in the world. We are a dog-friendly house, and your four-legged companions are always welcome. Enjoy browsing our books in the cozy library or playing traditional board games, chess, or the piano in the drawing room. Experience open fires and congenial dinner table conversation that make our hotel feel like a true retreat. Completely 'Off-Grid,' our goal is to be as close to nature as possible while maintaining a light environmental footprint. Electricity is generated from solar panels and stored in innovative SALTWATER batteries. Our water comes fresh from the hill spring, complemented by a reed bed system for waste water. All cleaning is carried out using chemical-free Enjo products. Nearby, you can observe red deer herds roaming the hills, while eagles and ospreys soar in the skies. Otters frequent the riverbanks, and you might spot salmon and wild brown trout in the lochs and streams. Ancient hut circles are our nearest neighbors, and you'll find brochs and Britain’s highest Iron Age hill fort just a short distance away, making this one of the most isolated hotels in the world.
